    Default combining styles

I am sharing two quilts. One I just finished The fish and the second I combined a friend's wedding rings (she is not able to quilt anymore) and my shells. This is where I got the idea I could combine shells with other styles. She and her husband loved the lap quilt. Am also hoping to get help with my corners since I hand quilt. I do know how to use a machine but prefer the hand sewing. It's a lot more fun for me. Thank you

    Debbie

I am totally fascinated by how you combined the two patterns in the second quilt.

My friend gave me all of her quilt material even the ones she had not finished. Since she did not have the material to finish the wedding ring pattern I incorporated my shells. I had enough rings to put two in the middle and one have ring for each corner. Then I just inserted my shells in the spaces left.

The combination you created in the second one is so creative and very pleasing. I really, really like it!
