Default Commissions- Bonus or curse?

In addition to quilts I make a goodly number of art pieces. I sold one to a woman who asked me to make a companion piece. The original was prairie fields, the compansion was to be the same picture in the dead of winter.
It was 4 months after I'd made the original and I had kept no data, other than photos of the construction.
It's one thing to have an inspiration but another to revisit it with someone else's vision. While it wasn't a nightmare as there were some visual clues in the orignial re dimensions it was a real effort.
But I'm out the other side and rather pleased with the results. I've included both pieces below.
ART is usually "one of" work. I'm taking a lot more photos now and adding notes etc to my records. Who'd have though ART would necessitate paper work.

Once again, MaryKatherine ... amazing work!!!!!!!
Complete to the icicles hanging off the eaves and windows.

And you know what you might as well do now ..... Spring and Autumn, to complete the foursome!

All ... if you didn't enlarge the photos, be sure to do so, so that you do not miss out on MaryKatherine's detail work. I'm blown away with this woman!
