The following pix of of my newly finished quilt room. My husband did it all. He painted the walls, laid a new floor, made and framed the quilt puzzle, made the oversized ironing board, and we both made the design wall. (hanks to all the tips from you on how yours were made). This was my daughter's bedroom before she moved out. Oh, he also bought me the flat screen tv for my birthday so I could quilt and watch tv. What a guy, huh? The othr group of pictures are Diane Phalen's. Just love her work. The only thing left to do is hand my quilt rack on the one blank wall so I can display some of my quilts on a rotating basis. I'm also looking for fabric to make long panels for the windows to go with the valances I made. I'd also love to cover my ceiling fan blades like I saw somewhere on this site. It was just adorable.

Lovely! Now go mess it up!!! I can't believe it will look like that in a month's time! You have a very loving husband. I bet he believes, "Happy wife, happy life!"

Mine was almost that pretty a year ago when I moved in! But now the pretty pictures are replaced with shelving units. Unless you really look you can't see what the floor or the walls look like! I miss it but that's life!

How sweet of your husband to do all of this for you. I see his love for you in every detail. You have a wonderful place to quilt---enjoy it!

What a beautiful serene looking room, looks so peaceful..... I imagine you just love being in there!! I'm also guessing your DH is pretty proud of your quilting, to fix up such a room for you!
:D
