well the corduroy top is finaly readty to get sandwhiched.

It has been an experience working with it for a top and definately it will be heavy.

Will probably just stitch in the ditch but not sure. Any sugestions

Is the whole thing corduroy??? You are a brave lady! Sorry I don't have any suggestions--stitch in the ditch works for me!

It sure looks good. Was it like flannel to sew or more like denim? You did a real good job :D

It is all corduroy. Sewing is a combo a little like flannel but seam areas are like denim to get through.

All the black corduroy is going up and down and is 21 wale The blue is going side to side and its 11 wale

It has been a challenge right now without the border/binding its 76x86

It turned out very pretty! I bet it almost twinkles when you move around it! The wale of the corduroy is kind of an added bonus for those stars.

The quilt looks greAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!Can't believe you finished is so quickly. Stitch in the ditch or tied would be fine. Great colors!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could feel it. It reminds me of the wonderful heavy covers at my grandmother's house. Sunk into a featherbed, pinned down by the covers, it was nearly impossible to get up in the morning. :)

the only thing to do with a heavy quilt like that is stitch in the ditch lovely

Ohhh it turned out beautifully!!! What will you use for batting? Anything special due to the weight? It really is an awesome quilt!!!
