This is a variation of a block I found online. Since I changed it, I re-named it. It has a four patch middle and each of those colors has three more squares of the same print "surrounding" it. I LOVE using rich deep color. I have made about 5 of these. One was all in purples for my sister. Guess what her favorite color is........

It reminds me of one piece of tetris. I love the colors you picked!

Thank you all. This is such a friendly group. I get a little lonely sometimes with the husband working so much. It sure is fun to be able to "talk" to people from all over.

Yes I have a picture of the purple one. Will send it soon. In fact I have taken pictures of every quilt I have ever made. My sister thinks I am too organized. I have a list in my computer of the quilts, their sizes, names, and even the dates I finished some of them. I put all this info on the labels as well. A hundred years from now they may be worth something.

This is absolutely stunning. You said it was easy, and I couldn't see how. Well, it's late at night (the ER is quiet, so I"m playing here) and finally saw the 4 patch, surrounded. Duh! What a grand idea. It almost looks like a jig saw puzzle. I LOVE IT! :-D
