Gorgeous blue koi fabric that is not a panel. All I did was add borders and flange binding and 108" backing and done.

This quilt is for mom of my daughter's boyfriend who is battling liver cancer. She is fighting very hard fight to be here for her kids and family. Her son picked out this fabric based on moms love of color blue and koi.

The colors are just gorgeous. What a generous gift of your talent.

Thank you for the kind words. Couldn't have been easier to make. Using as an example to new people in my quilt group of how something simple can be so beautiful.

Her son said "I'm surprised you finished it so fast" (one week) so I made sure he knew this is not "normal" turn around time for anyone making a quilt. :)

She will receive it tomorrow when he son leaves here and travels back home to Tempe. I know she will find much peace in this and hope she has many YEARS of warmth in it.
