My son's girl has been with him for over two years. I've made her two wall hangings, but it's time for a ragged flannel. She picked these fabrics from my stash--her favorite color is orange.

This one is her favorite of the bunch:

I went to the Mennonite store with the wall of flannels and there wasn't ONE there!!!  I purchased all the above from there. So, I'll be searching for them on the web. Or, Jenny and I can find something else.

So, to not waste the trip, I needed to find something.
I found these:

Many batiks and more of the tree fabric.

On I drove to the other Mennonite shop. They didn't have any flannels I wanted either. BUT, they had these:

The batik with the suns is a great one for the Lake quilts/wall hangings.

And these:

The green is a Thimbleberries flannel I use a lot. The other isn't red, it's a rich maroon and the selvage reads "Rocky Mountain Quilts." It was buy one yard, get one free.

All toll, it was less than $6 a yard. I feel happy, oh so happy.
:D
