    The last few years of teaching can be hard! (Ask me how I know.) I'm going to borrow the idea if that's ok. I have a bunch of counting down to do!

    I retired in June after 37 years of teaching elementary school. I do still miss the children and the excitement of teaching. Retirement is a big adjustment, but I do have more time to work on quilting projects. You can finally take a vacation during the winter, too. Congratulations and best wishes.

    Now this brought a smile to my face :lol:
    I head for Harlingen, Texas from COOOOOLD Illinois the beginning of November. I make a chain October 1 to count off the days.
