    Default Fall Hoots Hollow Quilt

We're about to be great grandparents again any time now. Our granddaughter is due Oct. 15th, but thinks things are going a little sooner at this point. Her teenage angst caused a lot of hard feelings with our daughter & her dad, so we'd lost track of her until she wanted to connect again. This baby is her 2nd child, so I told her I'd make this baby a quilt and I'll make a turtle pillow toy for the older girl. I finished this quilt today. I'll be working on the turtle pattern once I get done with the supper dishes. The pattern is Hoots Hollow which I got from Annie's online shop and the 3-D butterflies are my own creations. I drew the pattern and satin stitched the bodies. The feelers were put on with a toothpick and fabric paint.

Your grandaughter will treasure this for her baby girl and will love the turtle pillow for the big sister. I really like the colours in this quilt. Its real bright and cheery. She will be happy she reached out for you.
