well its not a crib quilt as such, but the little boy I made this for turned 1 last month.. His Mum, my boyfriend's sister, wanted a quilt for his little boy for when he moved to his "big boy" quilt.

yesterday I managed to get the last of it quilted and have the binding on by machine.. I started slip stitching the other side of the binding last night and have one side done.. I hope to have it completed with the label on the back by the weekend.. Here is is!!

Very pretty! I didn't realize 1 year old was the "big boy" cutoff. No wonder everyone says kids grow up fast!

she is figuring by the end of this year he will be in his big boy bed.... I am really happy how it turned out. I loved playing with the reds, gold and browns. now my boyfriend wants a quilt in those same colours for his bed. the one shown in the picture above.
