Here is a suggestion for your new fabrics. It is one of my favorite patterns. I have made it about 6 or 7 times. You can make the squares any size you like, AND it is easy. I usually make them about 3 inches. I call it Four Patch Surrounded. It only takes four squares of each color, but you can repeat them if you like. I have many times.
