Just saw this on craigslist. Wondered if I should go look at it. Only $30.

Does it work? The cabinet itself is at least worth that.

I would jump on it. But I have been bitten by the collection bug....so I want to buy just about anything that cheap and that great shape :D

Obviously these people don't know what they have. If it runs offer $20 for it. I never offer full price right off the bat. Call them, tell them you'd like to look at it. Take a piece of fabric and some thread with you and see if it runs. If it does and doesn't catch the thread, they've got the wrong needle in it or have it turned wrong, offer less.

Ad doesn't mention if it works. Sent an email and asked the Model # and they answered to, call to come look at it.

Always be safe and bring a guy with you. As far as the price I love a bargain but I am also trying to leave the impressison that they got what they thought is fair. I bought 2 featherweights at a garage sale. And I asked if the women knew what they had. They asked $200.00 & $250.00. I knew that was fair and we both were christians. Enough said. I just try to be careful.
