Default Crayoin colored wall hanging

Ever since I saw pics of quilts colored with Crayola crayons on this board, I knew I would have to give it a try. I used the applique pattern, Frosty Babies by Brandywine designs. There were 12 frost babies, but I just tested it out on 4 of them. It was so much fun! I used the snowball block and used up some of my scraps, too. Youtube has some good tutorials.
It really is a "must try"!

Seen these and love the effects, but my quilts get used, what happens when they are washed? Anybody ever tried washing them?

I am going to watch the videos. Thank you. This quilt is really cute. Can we wash these and what if they sit in the sun for too long? I need to get watching I think.

I only washed it after it was completed. On one of the videos it said to use Crayola because there is more wax than fabric crayons. After you color, you put a white paper towel over it and press. I'm hoping someone can advise if it can take many washings.
