I made a lap quilt for my aunt, in honor of my uncle, who died on Sunday night. I try to keep some UFO lap quilts in the closet and go ahead and finish them when there is a death. I think they're more meaningful than flowers.
The last picture is a group of batiks I just ordered from Thousands of Bolts and Only 1 Nut, after I saw a post on here about a big sale. When it arrived today...my husband said, "have you been on the internet again?" Opps.....didn't sneak that package into my stash!
