i also love it... really beautiful... i know the feeling of excitement and relief to have it done finally... i am making a cal king for my dil and it is really trying at times so i put it away and do something fun..lol... i told her i would have it done by her 50th bday she is turning 43 in dec...lol.. so i think i may have time...

Okay everyone...it is bound and ready to put on the bed come spring. Pics show it after it came back from LAQ with just stippling done on it. I did not want anything fancy. Thought you might like to see what the backing looked like. Nice to have one less UFO!

i like it. if you ever need to do one on your own machine, just piece it into 2 halves. catch the binding 1/2's together, then pin the top together and 1 row of stitches...no turns, practically finishes it. i've done a king on my machine by ding first the center, then adding 2 or 3 borders (1st do the sides by sandwiching the top, batt and backing onto 1 side and stiching, then turning and doing some simple lines that basically go up and down.. then attach the top and bottom the same way.
