Default Two Little Quilts for the Children's Village

Hoping these two will make Christmas merry for a couple of little people in hard circumstances.

Both are made with the tons of leftover I Spy strips I had. This one is called Topsy Turvy Triangles:

The flip side:

This one is a Strip Twist, plus a piano key border:

Close up of Strip Twist center. (My favorite pattern for strips!):

Flip side is a playmat for cars:

I like the binding choice on the first quilt, and the back for the second one is going to be fun for someone-- I hope a boy with a matchbox car collection gets it.

Wonderful and colorful.....gives me warm and fuzzies visualizing them using these. So thoughtful. Is that pattern (Strip Twist) using 10" paper squares? I made a wonky scrappy quilt with them but still have a stack left.
