I actually considered laying the cording in before stitching it so I wouldn't have to work it through with a safety pin. But it was a small bag, so I didn't do it. But I would on a big bag. The purse handle should work well for you.

Sorry, I mention several times throughout the pages that no pattern is needed and that I would do a tutorial on how to make it. I give the link for the tutorial on page 6. It is in blue and you click on the link and it takes you to it.

Too cute. To get both fabrics to show why not make a big 4 patch before cutting your large squares? Waiting for tutorial.
