Angry Cute Modern Baby Quilt, hubby thinks it's weird!

Ok, my first time posting a pic of my quilts, but I think this came out super cute. My hubby thinks the black and white looks weird. I think He's crazy. I would LOVE this quilt for me if I was a baby! The quilt looks loppy on bottom because the wind was blowing hard so it wouldn't just hang down.

I think by the time the baby is older and sitting on it playing with her barbie dolls it will look just fine.

Husbands are trainable. Mine went from "whadaumean wots wrong wid it!!!!" (said in painic)... and now he says "I like it, but the upper right hand corner doesn't have the energy of the rest," or "too many colors over there," or why not extend that curvyness clear across the quilt?" You just need to train him!

The eye doc says my DH is color blind in most colors, but when we are talking quilts he comes up with incredible suggestions! I used to send pictures thru email to one daughter or the other, and she would offer suggestions. Haven't done that in years now! Perhaps the fact that I like bold colors might be why he can "see" the problems so well. Keep working with your love and he may decide to relax and look too.

One of the first baby quilts I made was little neon figures on a black background. When her mom held the 4 month old so she could see it for the first time, hanging on the design wall, that baby was totally mesmerized! Kept staring at it, moving her eyes back and forth, finally reaching out to touch it and smiling.....lands, she stole my heart!!! Babies KNOW!
