    You guys are so nice with the compliments. I just got back from visiting my Aunt and giving her the quilt. She loved it and even said she used it last night so I'm glad she's actually using it!!

    Which color was the center of the 9patch prior to cutting. I have made one and I am going to do a baby d9p and I want to be sure I place the fabrics correctly.

    The ivory was the center patch. It's the one that gets cut up the most.

    Thanks for the information. I can start mine now. Glad your aunt liked the quilt...but then how could she not like the quilt. It is very striking and pretty.
