Daddy is a Fireman

I have finished one quilt of two I will be making for two brothers whose daddy is a Fireman. I had this great fabric that I had gotten years ago for my son when he did volunteer firemen duty.

Anyway, the boys are 6 and 8 and I put pictures of their dad and mom on the quilts and the fire department gave me the patches for the quilts. Colors do not really go great together but each boys' favorite colors are Green and Orange. Since the quilts will look a like, the green will only be on one and the other will be orange.

I like the colors - I don't think everything has to be matchy- match

especially for kids

Between the patches, the flames, the pictures of mom and dad and then their favorite colors to boot, I think you made them the perfect quilts! They're going to love them! Great use of flame fabric!
