Default Dad's Quilt

This was special gift for my dad. We were estranged for years, but I am happy to say all it well between us. I love my dad and I think he is the strongest man I've ever met with my husband coming in at a close second. (Sorry honey) I thank God that we have had a second chance to be family once again. I am not as good at this quilting stuff as some of you but I do enjoy it so much and I get better with every one I make.

what a nice job - and what a blessing, to have your dad back in your life again.

I like it! Manly looking. I really like pinwheels in corner. Glad you were able to patch things up with him. (pun intended) :-)

A treasured gift for sure. What a lovely way to say, "I care about you". Love the colors and fabrics. Great job!
