This quilt was probably about 6 years in the making. I bought the pattern and fabric as a kit way back in 2004 or maybe even earlier. I put together some of the blocks and had trouble with one of the blocks and put it away for a number of years. Then decided that I had to get this thing finished if it was the last thing I did, so worked slowly at it and finally finished it up last winter. Then I put it together and had my local LA quilter do the quilting for me. My daughter will be happy that it is finally finished.

My husband saw that pattern in the Keepsake Quilting catalog I keep in our second bathroom for reading. He actually earmarked the page and said he'd like for me to make it. For me; however, I could not afford the kit but I did keep the page for further use......in case I can find and afford it later. Great hubby!!! He actually looks at my quilting catalogs!!!
