These appliquéd quilt blocks are for the Biblical creation story. They will eventually become part of a Bible quilt that won't be completed for some time. I will still re-work the Day 6 block and may simplify the Day 7 block. (I would love some serious critiques on those two blocks to make them the very best they can be.)

I have used computer software to place these quilt block illustrations into what looks like a quilt. The days are numbered beginning on the upper left cell then moving clockwise around and ending in the center. These quilt blocks plus my Adam and Eve block posted elsewhere are the illustrations for my Bible storybook, The Creation.

Neat, is that a original idea?

Very nice visual interpretation of the Bible re: creation days. Can't quite make out what's in the center. (And, excuse my ignorance, but wouldn't that be where Adam and Eve would be?)

I have no sugesstions sorry!! I think your blocks are stunning!! You said they were from your illustrations, so I assume you did this without an official pattern. What a great job!!!

Cheers!

I, too, cannot tell what is in block 7.
I think this is great.
The only suggestion I would make for block #6 is to have Adam AND Eve. "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
