I just had to show off a couple purses my 13 year old DD made. She loves to make purses and bulldogs.

This little purse went to Israel

Wow, your daughter is very talented. I sure couldn't sew like that at 13!!!
The bull dogs are adorable. Where did she get the pattern?
Does she garment sew or quilt also?

She quilts also. So far she has only pieced the tops but she wants to learn how to use a long arm...don't we all! LOL We found the pattern for the bulldog at one of our LQS's. It's cute but a little bit of a pain. Lots of hand sewing to attach the head, bodies, jaw fold and ear folds. I always get that fun job. I need to figure out a better way but haven't yet.

I think it is wonderful that she enjoys sewing. You've helped her to find a hobby that will give her pleasure for a lifetime.
