Default Dear Jane - B12 & 13, end of A & B rows

Ahhh! Finished row B with an easy one! Still Freezer Paper pieced it for accuracy! With B12 I took some advice and did not do it from the diagram in the book. I separated the center from the melon seeds and made the seeds smaller.

On to row C! Maybe tomorrow!

kitsie, i did just the opposite on b12... i made sure that the melons covered the corners of the center as i couldn't get the center points to stay tucked in
nice work!

Where are you showing yours, Nancy? I'd love to see it! Shall I look on the board's "site"?

I am so enjoying watching your Dear Jane progression and your hints and comments along the way. Maybe one of these days I'll have the courage to tackle one of my own. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all for your interest! Seeing the "big" picture of B12 makes me want to re-do it! (Will need to condense my pictures) This time I'd do it in purple as I just noticed that I have 3 green blocks very near to it! I would like to make the melons a touch bigger (I trimmed my seam allowance too short) and try for better curves in the center. Think I'll still do reverse applique though. This green fabric frayed badly, so I use a drop of Fray-Check in the sharp corners before I do the hand work! Will get back to you in a day or so!
