Default Debbie's Wildlife Adventures

Well Debbie sent this quilt to me for LAQ. I pulled this out of the box and WOW! it's pretty amazing..I had to ask her if she did all the satin stitching herself or if it was by computer...I wish you all could see how perfect she can sew a satin stitch...it's pretty amazing! She told me she takes her favorite patterns..enlarges them and then uses her 30 year old machine and stiches everything herself. Pretty extraordinary!

I don't do many wildlife quilts myself...but I can honestly say I loved the process of this because as I was working I could see those fish swimming...the bear fishing and the mountain goats fur sway....the eagle flying..it all came to life. My FIL would love this quilt...so I may have to take an adventure myself..just so I can quilt something like this again.
My pictures don't really give justice to this quilt..(to much sunlight)......But honestly it's a sight to see!
Thanks so much!

I have not done a landscape quilt, but I can see the level of details and the variety is astounding. Wow!
