Default declared war on my scrap bag: resulting reversible QAYG quilt

Completely reversible king-size quilt; both sides are made totally from scraps.

I used Warm & Natural batting. It's a bit heavy as it's got so many (thousands,
it seemed!) seam allowances enclosed so it's nice to be able to "change" the quilt
by just turning it over.

This one is "Buggy Wheels". I used white sashing and white binding on this side.

I dubbed this [string quilt] side "Just the Scraps, Ma'am"! I used black sashing
and black binding on this side.

These two photos show the reverse of each side.

Love it "declared war on my scraps" I'd have to say that if you didn't win the war you certainly won this particular battle. You have two beautiful scrap quilts there. Awesome job. You should enter it in the fair or a show. It is a great reversable quilt.

WOW from me too! What a great job, and both are beautiful as well. You have made those scraps into a treasure. It appears that you may have quilted each large square then joined with sashing???? That looks like a doable way to quilt a queen.
