I hope that my DGD will be interested in sewin'. It looks like DSonIL is gonna git a job in Houston, so they will be much closer than FL! I really think I'm gonna see 'em a lot more, especially since I bought my DGM's house in Brady. My DGD is 5 yrs old.
I meant ta tell ya how adorable your DGD's quilt is!

Thanks, everyone! Can't wait to have this finished, so that she can enjoy using it . . . and start on her next project!

BTW, I'm a terrible Gramma! I've been saying she's 9-1/2 but she won't be 9-1/2, until next month! Had it in my head, "during the summer, she'll be 9-1/2" and guess the heat has affected my brain!

How precious it is that you and she are quilting together. I have two granddaughters and two great granddaughters and none are interested in quilting - yet...I still hold out hope that I can get them interested. I did not have anyone in my family that quilted. What wonderful memories you are creating with your granddaughter.

So sweet to see! I love seeing young people learning to sew. Someone said to me recently that he thought sewing was a thing of the past. I told him he needed to join this blog! lol
