Default DGD's wedding quilt flimsy now complete

On the theory that I might not be able to make a wedding quilt for the DGD when the time comes, I started this is 2003, when she was 2. Somehow it got pushed to the back of the closet. When I came across it a couple of weeks ago, I finished the top with the 9 patches. I am now unable to quilt such a large top, so I am handing it to a LAQ friend of mine. It's still way ahead of need, but it is one UFO that is very close to completion.

Wow! your quilt is gorgeous. I love the simple elegance of it and how all the colors play together. It has an Amish feel to me and so it will be loved in 2000 to infinity. Great job. I wanna be you when I grow up :-) and make such wonderful memories.
