    Interesting placement of the blocks. There are so many ways to arrange log cabins.

    Your husband could think outside the 'block' and design an original and unique top. I love it. (I love the Christmas pattern, too.)

    I don't know if anyone mentioned this to you but be sure to sew all of your borders together before you attach it to the quilt and then do the miter. Maybe you already know this.
