When you said diamond quilt, I never imagined that it would look like this. It's absolutely spectacular! I would love to make something like this, but I'm not that talented.

OMG this is wonderful!!!!!! I love what you and Dunster have done for your final border (PIECED)....AND i WISH THAT i COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THAT....I am not a blue person - but these colors are just unbelievably BRILLIANT together...your daughter must be so proud and happy with this!

Shorebird, I posted some general instructions for the radiating border before, but I'm not sure when, so here it is again. If anyone has trouble opening the file, pm me. The instructions are written with the hexagon shape of this quilt in mind, but they would work equally well for other quilt shapes. I think Glassquilt's border is especially well done - her DH has a great sense of design.

For those who have asked about the pattern, I am still selling it on eBay. Look for the Diamond Log Cabin Star quilt pattern.
