    Very pretty quilts! I really like the 'star' quilting on the brown one! Was it hard to do?

    No I just used a ruler and line it up to where I wanted the point to end sew then lined up the ruler to the next point. Thanks labug

    Those are beautiful! Do you send them on your own or as part of some sort of agency/ volunteer group?

    I have also made quilts for our wounded military people as a volunteer through operationquietcomfort.com and through the Quilts of Valor Foundation [qovf.org]. I really enjoy making them, but wish they weren't needed :-(

    They are both very pretty. Never seen the layout with the flying geese like that. Like the wave effect.

    I made them for a friend who's brother is a soldier she asked all her friends to make one or two quilts. She has 22 quilts to send to her brothers for is group.
