Default Diamonds and Stars

My husband designed this and pieced it, I did the quilting! We are pretty happy with it. It is 82" x 90".

If anyone has seen this pattern please let us know, we have looked but not found it!

As for the pattern ... it looks like 1/2 of a lone star with HST's in the corner to finish it into a square. Except he didn't use HST's - he cut the corner as a whole piece.

Nifty pattern!

I believe the block is (at least sometimes) called 4 point stars. Some examples -

It's a great quilt and the quilting is super. It looks familiar so it is probably out there somewhere. It looks almost like the Spiderweb blocks I am working on.

Lovely ... especially because of the fabric used for the stars, as it really gives motion and lets those stars twinkle away.

Would you please show us a piece of it before it got all cut up?
