    I think it is a great idea, I could see myself doing something like this...as I tend to go off the beaten trail often.

    It is coming out great! I too have that book and have been wanting to try this, just haven't gotten around to it.

    Since I love roses...I love the quilting showing on the top. There are no quilt police so do it how ever you want!! I like it.
