This wonderful old quilt was donated to our food and clothing pantry and rescued by the director, who is a wonderful quilter. She has very little time, so I offered to try to fix the worn spots. I appliqued over the worn places and repaired seams that had come apart, using vintage feed sack fabric I had and some repro fabrics my friend had. It looked to be machine pieced and hand quilted. Even though the hand quilting stitches aren't tiny, they are even. I'm selling it on eBay to donate the proceeds to the pantry, which gives away food and clothing to anyone who needs it. I wish it could tell its story.

Are you able to share the link to the ebay posting? I bid on lots of quilts and quilt tops, and so far I've found some amazing items.
