Very pretty. I just posted mine a few days ago with a different layout. Love this pattern.

I saw yours, I really wish I did it with all pattern blocks instead of the white, I just followed the missouri star quilt co tutorial online so I did what they say. I laid out all my blocks too before I sewed them together to see which way I preferred the colours and it looked much better have it graduating in big blocks of colour.

I wish I'd know what a pain it is to line up seams, I'd have probably picked something else for my first time. This was meant to be a single bed size but I put together one charm pack and was over the seams so decided to make it a throw with a thick border, added the double border to give it size.

Thats basically what I did to give mine size too. I didn't think about alternating the blocks with solids. I also hate lining up seams and I have a bargello in my near future - go figure.

I think I just added a Bargello to my list, way way way way down the bottom of the list but that looks amazing. My to do list is very very long now.
