    Default Disappearing 9-Patch Christmas Throw

Just finished the binding on this quilt for my mom. Since she was coming to my house for New Year's and exchanging presents then, I had time to get it quilted after all my other Christmas sewing. Thanks Mom!

I used a charm pack and some yardage from Joann's, backed it with a flat sheet I bought at Wal-mart. I added a 4 inch border and bound it in the same fabric. I took it to the long-armers and had a poinsettia motif quilted in a burgundy. My mom likes a puffy quilt, so the loft on the batting was higher than I would use normally, but it really made the quilting stand out!

I love it and I think she'll be tickled with it.

    Thanks for looking!

Great quilt! That batting choice really does make the quilting stand out.

Very pretty. And I love the quilting.
Yes, that batting choice really makes it puffy.
    Great quilt!
