Default Disappearing Hourglass - Comfort Quilt

I needed a quick quilt for my BFF who broke her arm really badly. I decided to try the MSQC disappearing hourglass, but use yardage rather than layer cakes. My quick quilt took 4 days, but she was very pleased with it. I originally planned on making twenty 12" blocks, in a 4X5 block grid, laid out as Jenny did in the video with the darks all going in the same diagonal. As I made the blocks and put them on my design wall, however, I decided to go with a different layout and only used 16 with a border. here's a picture of the quilt and the quilting detail.

Your quilt is gorgeous. You made it yours by turning the blocks differently. The quilting really enhances the quilt.

Gorgeous. Doesn't look like something that would be quick. You're a good friend. I sprained my ankle really badly in early June. Wish I had let you know! LOL
