I have seen lots of these quilts and then saw a tutorial on how to make one a little less scrappy. I wanted to try it out for a Quilts Of Valor and the hospital our guild supports.

This is where I saw this version. I really love it and can see lots more in my future. It is really fun.

The patriotic one has a center from Quilt In A Day.

The D9P has always been one of my favorite patterns....it's easy and so versatile. I also made some quilts that were less scrappy.....more like sashing and a corner square. You've done a beautiful job.

I really like the "unscrappy" look for DNP. Your patriotic one is beautiful! I love the way you combined the center medallion with the DNP.
