Default Disney Mickey Mouse "Good Night" panel

I just completed quilting this Disney Mickey Mouse "Good Night" panel for my DN's first baby. She wanted Mickey Mouse. I did a Moon and Stars panto, one row, only in the last border (coordinating fabric), using Golden Threads quilting paper. I did custom curlicues in the two panel borders. Outline quilted Mickey, Pluto, the clouds, the moons and the larger stars. Cloud shapes around the words, micro-stippling around the star in a box. I used C & C Star Quilting thread/Blue Skies on top and white in the bobbin. The backing is a coordinating patchwork fabric. I did a faux piped binding and a matching faux piping between the panel edge and the last border. Outline stitched all of the sashing. Used Soft & Bright batting. I still have a signature wallhanging (making it today) and a soft fabric book to make.
I'm really pleased w/how it came out. All of this custom quilting is out of my comfort zone, but I'm getting better.

Love the Disney characters, here in Canada none to choose from only when visit North Dakota.. A legal copyright issue.. Paddington bear panels popular.. Some panels I have purchased for myself quilted them and ended up on a child's bed that I babysat.. Guess still time for me to purchase and make for my bed.

Such a cute quilt. I'm sure the baby will love snuggling up with it.
