Default 3 quilts for 3 special kids

My son asked me to make 3 quilts for 3 special kids in his life. I asked what their favorite things are. All are 8-9 yrs old; one girl likes cats, one likes penguins and the boy likes trucks. Here's what I came up with. I wish the colors in the photos were better - I tried to "edit" to improve. The colors in the cat quilt are really deep, rich jewel tones and the sashings in the truck quilt are all calm, dusky, mellow tones.

I think you have done a wonderful job on each of these quilts. And I think your son is very special too! I can hardly wait to hear what the three special children think of their very own quilts.

You did a great job on all of them. I'm sure your son's friends will love them. Your son is pretty special too. Thinking of others and believing in mom to help him with his giving gesture.
