I live in a rental apartment. All the walls are standard white white white! So cold
So I use 3M hooks where ever there is a big enough space, and hang up my quilts!

I have quilts in my sewing room, not in the rest of the house.
Paintings are on the other walls, even in the bathroom, oddly enough.

Mine decorate a lot of people's homes, but definitely my own as well. On the beds, chairs, couch, walls, and windows! I like being able to change them from time to time.
