It will be fun to try setting up this quilt in eq. I love that program and it is just play time. If any of you want to try it, give me a size and I'll do it and send you the specs. I wish I had the time for a new project. Too much on my plate for now, but EQ time is free time for me.

Barb - easy to make pictures smaller. I couldn't live with out a free program called Irfanview. In it you can pick one side of a picture, tell it how big you want the item to be in inches, cm or pixel and it automatically adjusts the whole picture saving the proportions. Then just save it. I always leave the original alone and when saving give the adjusted picture a name something like block27resized. Good luck.

BE CAREFUL: If you want to be absolutely faithful to the illustration, the width of the center square must be equal to the width of the spool tops and bottoms. The Moda Bakeshop's instructions have a center that is wider than the top and bottom. Easily adaptable and I LOVE the no mitered corners!

I think it was Connecting Threads that had the house part of the pattern I remember seeing it last Fall/Winter. The other part I'm not sure what's it's called. Good Luck finding. Sue

Thought it was like burgoyne-sp. surrounded with the exception of the 4 corners of each block, but it isn't. I think the block is an older pattern but the outside squares or corners have been changed. Sorry.

Thanks Carol for posting the origination of the picture. Rebecca has put 50 of her quiltscape paintings into a book, along with the patterns for the quilts.
