I am searching for this pattern and so far 'no luck'.
Any one have an idea about the name and where I might find the directions?

Hunters star I believe. I don't know about the borders but this pattern is widely available for free on the internet.

I think it's Hunters Star and usually is made on a foundation.
The Star block is really 4 blocks put together.

That looks like some variation of the Hunters Star pattern.

Here is one done with templates. I have a special ruler to make one, but have not done it yet.

Hunter's Star.....Use the method by Deb Tucker called Rapid Fire Hunter's Star.........I've taught the class in this method and everyone loved it...Super easy, yet looks difficult....Take a look...

I don't know what the rest of the pattern is but I will keep looking.
