Great deal. Love a great bargain. Can only imagine what it would cost at the fabric store.

Here's an update for you folks. I had a blast sorting though the fabrics. I had to overhaul my entire storage system to make it fit but that's ok, I'm not complaining! It was fun plus it's a way better system now. I don't have a ton of fabrics so it wasn't an overwhelming job.

Before I started putting the new fabric away, I measured the fabric in just one of the two bags. It was over 30 yards! So I estimate that I got about 60 yards of fabric in the 2 bags - Yipes!! In my picture, there is an off white fabric in the top left. That's an unbleached muslin and that piece alone was over 9 yards. There is a red fabric in the center that was over 4 yards. There were lots of nice sized pieces.

To answer wendiq's question - I don't know yet what I'll make. I'm still in awe of what I got! I already make quilts for a charity which provides us with the fabric. We have a ton which was donated, so I think I'll keep this haul for myself. I love dreaming of the possibilities of what I can make......

You have to pay admission to a sale? Really? I have never seen a sale that charged admission. Nice fabric score!
