Dora quilt
#1
My neighbor asked last week if I had a small scrap of Dora fabric. "Of course" I said....what do you need to do with it? Her granddaughter is going to the same daycare that her son went to a few years ago. His old nap pad is Spiderman. the granddaughter has been using it but really likes Dora. She was going to sew a square with Dora on it.
It just happened to be at a time when I was having a lot of stress and decided that I needed to put together something quick and simple.
I did the birthing method for this quilt and for me it is easier to cut the corners off so that I don't have to worry about getting them pointed after I turn it.
Oddly, the Dora fabric is from Wal-mart and has some flowers on it. The fabric that I used for the border is from an LQS...completely different line...has the same identical flowers and the same colors as the Dora!
