Default Double Option Stars

I pulled out my blocks that our quilt guild made for me in our sharing project. This is a pattern that I designed called "Double Option Stars". I am honoured that the MOMs (Mothers of Marines) Quilt Block Exchange has chosen to use this pattern.

​Great blocks! I am thinking when they are sewn together another star shape appears between them?

Yes, all of the white edges also become a star.
