Made this for Joan and Bob for their 50th Wedding Ann'y but unfortunately they did not celebrate it. She lost Bob to cancer the year before. Decided to finish it anyway and sent it to her. Yellow is NOT my fav color but like this anyway.

Machine quilted the arcs but hand quilted the hearts.

When Joan passed away, her son sent this quilt back to me. I was so happy to get it. I still miss her.

What a beautiful quilt! My sympathy for the loss of your friend. Hopefully receiving this quilt back from her family will bring you many happy memories of her and your friendship. God bless!

What a dear friendship you must have had for you to make this for her and her husband. I'm sad to hear that you lost your friend but now you have something to remember the special times you had together. This is lovely BTW! It's an unusual color combo for a Double Wedding Ring...which makes it one of my favorites! You did a beautiful job on this!!!!
