This is the pattern I used for the DWR - it really wasn't very hard at all. I just made lots of copies of the pattern at work and then went to it. I would practice on some scrappy fabrics to make the arcs first the positioning is a bit tricky but once you have that down it sews up quickly. I increased the pattern for mine. Give it a try and good luck!
