I'm making this DWR quilt for my step daughter's wedding gift in March. Well they said they wanted it a little dark because of the dog and cat and they also want kids.

Sooooo, I had gotten 1/2 way thru this lighter one and decided it was "too light" so I started over and made this darker one for them.

Hmm-so now you have an extra one that needs a good home. I could suggest a great home: mine LOL. They both are beautiful and you put a lot of work (and love) into them. I'm sure they'll appreciate your thoughtfulness. Very pretty!!

Both quilts are beautiful. Are you going to let the kids pick when you're done? They'd probably want both. You do lovely work!!

When my daughter told me she wanted a DWR I told her, "Not happening! If I make one it's mine!!! " I think she understood. She took the Tennessee Waltz quilt with no complaints!

Thanks everyone. I used Elenor Burns method and appliqued the arcs. It was VERY EASY!!

The lighter one I am planning on selling. I have been working on both at the same time since new years eve.
